While sounding like a positive and affirming message, this resolution instead affirms that our community is systemically racist and provides a disparity of opportunity for minorities!
Between 2010 and 2020, our northcentral Wisconsin accepting and welcoming nature has allowed our great minority populations to grow faster than any other group.
Crafty worded resolutions that call for equity are meant to deceive and divide. For example, the divisive loan forgiveness for only minority farmers is a result of calls for equity!
We invite you to come stand for equality — not equity — this Thursday, August 12th at 4pm at the Marathon County Courthouse. This resolution is un-American!
